African Hunting Safari Crew - Nathan Askew

Bullet Safaris Professional Crew

Nathan Askew

Dangerous game professional hunter and owner of Bullet Safaris. Full time outfitter and guide in Africa and the USA (with his companies Iowa Trophy Hunts and Missouri Trophy Outfitters). You will struggle to find a harder working, more experienced professional hunter anywhere in the world. His passion for hunting and adventure led him to Africa at a young age, and his work ethic and integrity have insured the success of Bullet Safaris and its clients.

John Kemp

Professional hunter from South Africa with extensive experience in the safari industry. John has hunted Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, and South Africa. Not only is John a qualified and experienced professional hunter, he is also the owner and operator of Big Buck Taxidermy, one of South Africa's finest international taxidermists. John is a partner in Bullet Safaris.

Jim Lightsey

An experienced African hunter and outdoorsman. Jim helps with the logistics of Bullet Safaris in Africa and stateside. Him is very active in SCI and is a current board member of the Central Missouri chapter. His passion for Africa and enthusiasm for the hunt quickly led him to become a part of our team.

John Munzhelele

Without question, the best tracker in Africa. This man can track a gecko over a glass plate (not to mention elephant, lion, or anything with a hoof). John has been with Nathan Askew from the beginning and is the lead tracker and skinner for Bullet Safaris. He speaks seven languages and has a sixth sense when it comes to finding animals. He is truly dedicated to the hunt and is a pleasure to learn from in the bush.

Cash

Part bulldog, part pointer and all instinct. The 90-pound machine can literally fetch your impala. This dog can turn a poor shot into a recovered animal in a matter of minutes. Cash's main duties are tracking and cutting down on petty crime. He has traveled around the world working for Bullet Safaris and is Nathan's constant companion.

Other Crew Members

We have a host of other staff to see to your safari needs. WE employ chefs, assistant cooks, laundry attendants, maids, laborers and additional trackers and skinners. All are skilled at their jobs and enjoy being on the hunt. Their goal is to make your safari as comfortable as possible.
